Glendale’s horrendous season of injury’s continued as a number of players fell by the wayside this week.
Goalkeeper Stewart Muirhead suffered a dislocated elbow and broken arm after a fall during the match on Monday night against St Laurence. The popular goalie, renowned for his spectacular saves will sorely missed in the run in and everyone within the club wishes him a speedy recovery.
Things didn’t improve much on Wednesday night away to Bervie Caley,Barely 10 minutes into the game Mark Robb was forced off with a hamstring injury and just before half time Darren Buchan was carried off with an ankle injury which fortunately is not as serious as first feared although he will still be out for a number of weeks. No season would be complete without Chris Smith suffering a Hamstring injury and true to form he pulled up late in the 2nd half to complete Dale’s misery on the injury front this season.
