Great sadness surrounds the club with the sad news of the passing of Graeme Oag.

Graeme joined the club in season 2008/09 but managed only 2 goals in his debut season [both against Monymusk away in a 2-2 draw] as Glendale went on to win the Div 2 East title but this was a prelude to what was to come from Graeme. ¬†Two footed,Athletic and blessed with blistering pace the attacking mid fielder was to enjoy his most prolific season in 2012/13 when he scored 28 goals and was duly awarded the Player of the Year trophy by his team mates. Graeme had opportunity’s to move to Junior clubs who expressed interest but was content to stay at Glendale to play with his Mates. Graeme was again named Player of the year in 2016/17 sharing the award with Ryan McRae and was also selected to play for the Aberdeenshire Amateur Select making 3 appearances from the bench for the team to join a small band of Glendale players to do so the others being Ryan Stewart, Gary Mullen, Colin Barry and Mark Dickson.

Graeme was not only admired for his performances on the field but for his manner off the field which made his one of the most popular and respected players to have played for the club and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
